Claims and aftercare, on the same record as the move.
A removal does not end when the van pulls away. There is a sign-off, a review worth asking for, and occasionally a claim. Moovi handles all three on the record the job was already run on, so the evidence is the operational evidence rather than something assembled afterwards.
The problem
Claims are rare enough that most firms have no process for them and frequent enough that the lack of one is expensive. A customer rings three weeks later about a damaged item. The crew who did the job are somewhere else. The photographs are on somebody's phone. The inventory is on a sheet in a folder. What should be a twenty-minute conversation becomes an afternoon of reconstruction, and the firm settles because proving otherwise costs more than the claim.
Sign-off, rating and review
Completion closes the customer's experience as well as the operational job: the sign-off, the time, the notes and evidence, any exception, and the review request at the moment the job is freshest rather than weeks later when somebody remembers.
This trade lives and dies on reviews, and reviews are earned on the day. Asking at sign-off is not a marketing tactic, it is asking at the only moment the customer has the whole experience in mind.
A claim becomes a case, not a conversation
When a claim is raised, Moovi creates a controlled case: the customer and the job, what kind of claim it is, the item or event involved, the evidence, the value, the communications, the insurer or third party where one is involved, and the status through to settlement.
Crucially the evidence is already there. The survey recorded what was in the property. The crew recorded the condition, the photographs and the signature on the day. If the goods went into store, the intake tally and the custody record show what arrived and where it went. A claim about a specific item has a documented history behind it instead of a reconstruction.
What it changes elsewhere
A settled claim affects the customer's history and the commercial result of that job, so the true cost lands where it was incurred rather than disappearing into overheads. And because incidents and corrective actions live on the same platform, a pattern of claims of the same kind becomes visible as a pattern, which is the only way it ever gets fixed.
What this means for you
Claims you can defend with evidence cost less than claims you settle because proving otherwise is too much work. Claims you cannot defend get settled faster and more gracefully, which is its own kind of saving. And the ones caused by something repeatable stop being repeated.
Frequently asked
Does Moovi handle claims?
Yes. A claim is managed as a controlled case against the job it relates to, with the claim type, the item or event, the evidence, the value, the communications, any insurer or third party, and the status through to settlement. The operational evidence captured during the move, including the survey record, the crew's photographs and signatures and the warehouse intake tally, is already attached to the same job.
What evidence does Moovi hold if a customer claims for damage?
Whatever was captured while the work was done. The survey records what was in the property and its condition. The crew app records condition notes, photographs, times and the customer's signature at completion. If goods went into storage, the intake tally and placement history record what arrived and where it was held. None of it is assembled after the fact.
